(幾百年前寫完的文章竟然忘記發佈... )

Writing:

1. 結構怎麼安排？

其實論點也不用太多，正反方各一、兩點就可以了。

其他可以用reasoning, example, explanation填滿整段。

所以寫作步驟大概是這樣：

先想你支持或反對
如果支持，那第二段先寫「反對」意見，第三段再寫支持原因

二三段寫法差不多，就是：

論點－reasoning(because怎樣...)－example－explanation(解釋example與論點的關連)

如果有第二個論點，就再加上去。

如果論點太簡單，不需要例子解釋也沒關係，就用寫作字數去斟酌
例如你有三個都滿容易懂的論點，就不太需要三個都舉例

大概是這樣，細節就要看你文章的安排如何了～

2. 可不可以選邊站？

徹底選邊站不是不行，只說這種寫法一定要超有內容、超有說服力才能得高分！

University of Bath 巴斯大學獎學金申請

學校在五月下旬就發了一封International Scholarships Scheme的信，說明6/30正午前可申請，系統滿厲害的，只要輸入當時申請的BUCS帳密，就會自動告訴你符合哪些獎學金條件，而且也不需要一一送出申請。如果你跟我條件一樣，那大概就是有下面三種可以申請：

1. The University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme (Postgraduate)
2. The Stuart Appleton Scholarships
3. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Scholarships

總共有兩篇essay要寫，分別是500和300字。題目好像每年都一樣，如下：
Tell us why you think you are an academically and personally excellent applicant for the programme. Answer in no more than 500 words.

背景：國立科大應英系（到大三GPA 79.75，畢業時超過80）

我有找代辦，因為主要想念的Bath在台灣有負責的辦公室，到時候安排面試也是由他們安排，但所有申請都是自己來，英國學校現在都線上申請其實很簡單（下面會整理一些系統遇到的問題），而且因為時差的關係，收到學校email都是代辦已經下班的時間，這樣就要延後一兩天收到信（必須等代辦隔天上班才轉寄），我很急性子，會很想趕快收到…

下面申請以學校來分，我也記下系統遇到的問題和日期，因為申請譯研所就是無止盡的等待啊，希望給以後申請的同學一點參考~

推薦聽寫的網站

最近發現的聽寫網站，沪江網
註冊之後個人首頁的地方左邊那一排有個VOA聽寫，
介面很好操作，聽寫完送出之後，
系統會自己幫你改、更正，並算出正確率。

總共有三種音源：VOA慢速、VOA一般、BBC
不確定是每天更新題目還是怎樣，
不過有之前的音源檔，應該是練不完啦～

我以前練聽力也是會練聽寫，但我發現自己練有幾個缺點，
１。寫完之後很難更正
２。很難追蹤進度、生字
３。一陣子後就怠惰了

推薦沪江網這個是因為：
１。有系統紀錄很好追蹤
２。幫你設計的好好的，使用簡單
３。單篇時間短，不需花費太久時間

至於網站其他功能我還沒什麼研究，
好像還有口語練習、背誦之類的

1.繚縫機（疏縫機）basting sewing machine
由針線通過機器的運動和手工控制縫料形成任意需要針節距長度的線跡。在縫紉業中專門為兩層縫料作臨時性定位進行初縫合用的特種縫紉機。

2、手工線跡縫紉機（珠邊機）decorative stitching machine
由針線通過機器的運動形成完全與手工縫紉線跡相同的線跡的縫紉機。在縫紉業中專門用於裝飾性的縫紉。

3、毛皮機（拼接縫紉機）fur abbuting machine
拼縫各種毛皮的縫紉機。

4、自動縫紉機 automatic welting machine
由電腦控制，設有自動監控系統、送料系統和自動起縫、按設定的軌跡縫紉、停針、剪線等能自動完成某種縫紉工序的縫紉機。

我照我整個考試過程來分享好了，可能很多廢話請包含。

本身是應英系，平常就愛看影集，我想這是我L可以滿分的原因，後面會再推薦一些平常練習聽力的方式。第一次考雅思我沒有補習，結果W整個寫離題，我覺得原因是，自己平常準備素材的時候可以寫得好，但考試一碰到沒遇過的題目就不知道怎麼解題了（題目是城市規劃！）所以我整個離題（寫成都市化），整個很心碎XD
